So I rode the sofa all night not sure why but I got 2-3 hours of sleep. The only thing on at 2AM is Animal Cops which is a show that exposes some of the worst aspects of human cruelty. As I watched Animal Cops I felt like an complete ass. If I got my shit together I could give a dog or cat a good home. WTF is wrong with people and why do they feel the need to hurt other beings. I loved what one of the vets said as he was examining a pit bull puppy mix, “ How could you do this to a little person.” If the individuals who commited these atrocities had any compassion in their hearts they would not treat animals in such a dispicable manner.If you happen to inform them that you are for animal rights many people ask what are you doing for people? I always come back to the same idea. What does it say about us, so called civilized people, when we fail to protect and preserve the life of animals? How civilized are we really?
